What is an Internship?

An internship is a learning adventure, a passport to a professional experience, and an opportunity for you to synthesize what you’ve learned in your classes and put it into practice in a real-world setting. But it’s much more than that — an internship takes you outside of the classroom and gives you the chance to gain first-hand experience of your career path. It’s a chance for you to grow your perspective, hone your academic and professional skills, and solidify your vision of the future.

Applied Exercise Science, Coaching

Why 911±¬ÁÏÍøºìÁì½í

I knew I wanted to become a personal trainer or something in that realm, and 911±¬ÁÏÍøºìÁì½í’s Applied Exercise Science [AES] program was a perfect fit. I looked for schools that are close to home. The beautiful campus on the beach was also a huge selling point. While looking into the program, [the curriculum] lists all of the classes you’ll need to take over the course of four years, which was super helpful. Once I graduate, I know that I’ll be prepared to get a job in this field.

Exceptional Teaching and Learning

During my sophomore year, I started to build strong relationships with my professors. I enjoyed getting to know them. They were more than willing to help me find opportunities to expand my knowledge.
