Scott Steinberg’s β€œ5 tips for planning your college visit” published in β€˜Bangor Daily News’

On May 22, 2016, the Bangor Daily News published a column by Scott Steinberg, dean of University Admissions, titled β€œ5 tips for planning your college visit.”

In the article, Steinberg gives potential college students and their parents suggestions β€œthat can ultimately make for a smoother, more productive and enjoyable trip” when visiting colleges and universities of interest.

He recommends researching visitor offerings at each college and making necessary reservations; conducting no more than two visits per day; connecting with faculty, coaches and activity directors in advance; dividing between parents and students all trip responsibilities, such as making travel arrangements and campus arrangements; and preparing an itinerary for each trip.
