Megan Grumbling featured in 'Journal Tribune' and 'Memorious' literary journal for first book of poetry βBookerβs Pointβ

Megan Grumbling, M.A., developmental writing specialist, who recently published her first book of poems, Bookerβs Point, was the focus of an article in the April 10, 2016 issue of the Journal Tribune and was interviewed by the literary journal Memorious.
According to Grumbling, the poems of Bookerβs Point were inspired by and βold codgerβ named Bernard Booker, who lived on the other side of Ell Pond in Sanford from Grumblingβs childhood home.
βItβs a portrait in verse of this old Maine woodsman,β said Grumbling, describing the poems in the collection as βmeditations on home, work, nature and the importance of elders.β
Bookerβs Point recently won the Vassar Miller Prize in Poetry.
